For the 6th year running Iconic Bondi beach played host to “Bondi Bowl-a-rama” The biggest Pool skate event in the southern hemisphere. 14-year-old Brazilian ripper Pedro Barros beat a solid contingent of his peers to take home the $12000 First place prize.
The crew at WTST will produce a half hr TV show that will be aired later on FUEL TV

Tracks has set the date for the Premier of the January issue cover mount DVD. The night will be at the Beach Rd Hotel on the 28th NOV with a couple of band featured on one of the sections in the DVD including FAIT ACCOMPLI. Come down and check it out!!

World Heli Challenge 09 has finished and what a huge success! The resurrection event after a 9 year hiatus managed to score the 3 best days of the 2009 NZ winter in what will be an event to remember for years to come. Apart from some of the best Skiing and Boarding action by a world class field of athlete's from every corner of the globe, the 2 weeks will also be remembered for the INSANE chopper flying by NZ's best (craziest) Pilots and all the down day activities that went on. Check out all the vision and some info on what went down here.
The event will be screened in a TV series on ONE HD in Australia and also distributed world wide through Quatro Media! Keep an eye on this one for next year with a few surprises apparently in the works!

JOSS/JOI Sweden/Norway. Wow... what an epic trip. The second time I've been to this event and Scandinavia and all I want to do is go back there! 2 weeks of shooting, partying ,traveling and editing. Our team came up with this little edit. Unfortunately the theme was lost on a few of the Scando's and we didn't place too well but none the less... an epic trip!

Quik Pro Gold Coast is finished. After 2 weeks working on "Backstage with HOY" my liver is a little burnt out but during the event I got the chance to shoot this piece which was edited by Marty James from Nalu Productions... hope you enjoy!

Tracks Magazine Board Test 08 done! Back in Sydney after a nice 2 week trip up the coast. Not the best waves but some good surfing went down and Dave Kaziro finished up a couple of nice little edits with the shots... hope you enjoy!

The Burton Open is over for another year. Good weather and a solid course bring out some great runs from all the competitor’s .  Once again the OS talent was to good and  riders Mason Aguirre and Hannah Teter take out the Men’s and women’s 2008 Burton Australian Open  Halfpipe Titles respectively. Eric Willett of the USA and Kara Rennie of Canada take out the mens and womens division of the  Slopestyle.

Stylewars is done for another year. Once again “Stylewars” plays host to the highest calibre of snowboarders in an event on the Australian shores. The weather turned it on again with the massive jumps that the event has become known for! Canadian rider takes it out this year with the Aussies putting in strong performances. Japan Shoot for Tanner Hall’s feature ski documentary “Believe” wraps. Over all we ended up having a very productive 2-week shoot in NIseko, Japan. Despite the resort reportedly having its worst season in over 100 years, we were greeted with a couple of epic pow days and the 3 athletes, Tanner Hall, Ian Provo and Anthony Boronowski, all stepped up and came out with some great shots.
